The kauai paddle boarding  is a viable water activity for everyone regardless their age, gender, and their background. So, how are the professionals do out there? How can they be free from injury? What are their secrets? First things first, it will be a complete lie if they don’t have any injury. Even a pro paddler has a chance to fall off their board.

Actually, there are no secrets. There are no shortcuts or no-brainer ways. It works because of the good plans, ample exercises and training, good nutrition, good skills, the right gears, also the passion. If you see the kauai paddle boarding as a way to have fun, you will give your passion to develop your paddling skills. These will be useful for you.

It is very crucial to understand your body’s gestures, your stroking style, as well as your way of paddling on the Kauai water.

When you are thinking about this, it does not mean that everyone should paddle the same way. If you have ever checked out the professional paddlers’ videos, you will notice that amongst 10 paddlers, there are at least different 5 gestures. You will see how they move, behave, and accelerate. Why is that? It is their habit. And this habit will affect on how you are going to accelerate, maneuver, and beat the water out ther.

Is the speed that important? Well, if you are up to SUP race, then it is much more prevalent than other things. Board speed is your commodity to win the races. Speed in SUP race can be defined as the rate at which the paddler movie, accelerate, and operate their SUP board. Without a doubt, every paddler has his own unique way to drive their board. It does not only depend on the technique breakdown, but also the window to achieve the speed.

Speeding up can be a cool action in kauai paddle boarding. But you need to consider on what you sacrifice when going fast. Do you get exhausted quickly when doing this? Does your board become unstable when you accelerate? Are you experiencing cramps? How about the different parts of your body? How will they react?

You will need to consider all these things before including the speed in your agenda. If your purpose is just for recreation, then it may not be worth your time and effort. After all, you can reserve your energy and use it later for going home, or detouring everywhere else. The point is, you need to have fun.
