The good thing about rent a paddleboard in Kauai is that you can’t go wrong by traveling there in any season. Kauai is basically family-friendly all season. However, you might want to visit in Summertime to avoid any rain or bad weather.

When you travel to Kauai in the right time, you will have big opportunity to get out on the open water for more fun experience. We are not talking about SUP tour. Rather, you can try fitness on your board to strengthen your body and maintain your balance. The good thing here is that you won’t need to hire any personal instructor to direct you to workout on the SUP. Soak up the sun and try the body workout on the flat water in Kauai. So, what are you getting at? Let’s talk about these briefly below.

What do you think about paddle squat? Yes, you’ve heard it right! You can do squat while on the board! It is very easy to do that. First things first, you will need to stand at the center of the board. Your feet must be parting just a slightly wider than hip-width. Then make sure the toes angled out slightly. Hold your paddle with your hands about hip-width apart. There is no exact measurement really. But you can make sure that your arms extended in the front of the thighs. Bend your knees, and lower your squat position. Raise your paddle up to your shoulder height and keep your arms extended. Slowly lower your arms and extend your hips and knees to return to the initial position. Repeat this process. You will realize that it works pretty much the same as squatting at your usual gym.

The other exercise you can do is water bailer. Start your position in a split stance. Place your left foot forward and the right foot at the back. Hold the paddle firmly in the front of your body. Make sure the position is at the shoulder height. Keep your arms extended, and bend your knees, lowering your position into a lunge position. Draw the paddle crossing your body with your hands are outside the right hip. Then extend your knees, change your position to standing while drawing the paddle diagonally across the body with the arms extended. Repeat the process.

You can also exercise belly up as well. You already know how to do it, we bet. So, what are you waiting for? You could rent a paddle board now and exercise on your favorite board.
